Overview

The Advanced Placement Computer Science-A PD course covers the basics of Java programming equivalent to a first-semester, college-level course in computer science. Step-by-step tutorials, hands-on labs, expert code reviews and live 1:1 support will help you reach your goals whether it is to improve instructions, plan activities, or give better student feedback.

Goals

The course prepares you to teach AP CS-A by building confidence and skills in Java programming. Upon completion of the course, you’ll be able to introduce basic Java concepts, identify common student errors and give actionable feedback.

Curriculum
